Ron Menke, founder of Kissimmee Professional Dive Center in Florida, USA will be conducting NAUI Instructor training courses twice a year here in our Dive Center in the Bahamas, “Above and Below Abaco” .

Ron has a long history in the world of Professional SCUBA Diving. Ron has been diving since 1964. He moved to Florida in 1972 where he joined the Orange County Fire Department. In 1974 Ron became involved with the fire department rescue team. By 1978 he was put in charge of the water Rescue/Recovery Team and went on to become Instructor. By 1981 Ron took over the entire Orange County Water Rescue Team and developed a team recognized in the state as being one of the best trained in Florida. He now conducts classes for the Orange and Osceola County Fire Departments as well as for the City of Orlando.
In November of 1985 Ron started Kissimmee Professional Dive Center in a strip mall on Vine Street in Kissimmee, Florida, USA. Six years later, in December 1991, Ron purchased land on US 192 and moved his Dive Center into a beautiful new building. Today it is one of the most highly respected SCUBA Centers in Central Florida.

Ron is a factory trained equipment repair technician, trained in nearly all brands of regulators and SCUBA equipment. He is a Master Technician for Scubapro, Aqua Lung and Apex Equipment.
Ron and his wife Janice arrange most of the International SCUBA trips for Kissimmee Professional Dive Center. They are Certified Travel Experts in the Caribbean and Pacific.
